Op, would you yourself, (if you still had the heath and it was legal) kick in your neighbors door, point a gun at him, put in handcuffs, and assuming you find a certain plant, put him in a cage in your basement for an undefined length of time? Thats what police are doing. When you support police doing that, you might as well be doing it yourself. To do what you suggest means the police have probable cause to gain entry to that home. And again, if they find drugs, they will add that to the charge. They don't kick in doors on the assumption their going to find a dime bag of pot. Let's be serious. As for me doing it? If I were in law enforcement and I was given the order to search a home AND the party inside refused to open it? Yes, I would kick it in because the law allows me too. Again Machine, the laws are written to protect people. They aren't perfect. They sometimes hurt innocent people. I get that. However, laws are laws and until we change them, the police are bound by oath to enforce them.
