What do you think about Colin Kaepernick?Archived Message

Refused to stand for the national anthem for a second time at his pre-season games and said:
"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color."
"To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."
Colin Kaepernick's biological mother was a white woman named Heidi Russo, his black father left before he was born and has never been in his life. He left Russo while she was pregnant.
Kaepernick was adopted by WHITE couple Teresa and Rick Kaepernick.
He attended college in Nevada, played football as well as baseball.
Oppression? I don't see it. What I do see is wounded soldiers, limbless, blind, disabled who STAND FOR OUR COLORS AND FOR OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM.
My opinion is he is a half-baked, misguided millennial who, like so many other, half-baked, misguided millennials, has jumped on a screwed up bandwagon based on lies and half truths.
And where does the NFL stand on this you might ask?
They are perfectly fine with it. They say it's his choice to stand or not to stand.
Just like when those stupid Ram players came out with their hands up at the game last year. It has been proven repeatedly that the "hands up don't shoot" mantra was a manufactured lie by the criminal who accompanied Mike Brown to the quick shop that fateful day. The one who swore to police and media that Brown had his hands up and said don't shoot. It's hard to have your hands in the air while you're struggling to take the officer's gun away from him.
The NFL, just another big business mafia riddled with corruption and financially greedy, self serving pigs.
When the Dallas Cowboys wanted decals on their helmets to honor the fallen law enforcement officers who were murdered by that black criminal, the NFL said nope, no way.
