Just saw the Pontoon Beach mayor on t.v. That community really banded together to take care of each other. Last night they showed the sandbaggers and firemen pulling individuals out of the mobile home park.
The BND site is reporting the evacuation of another mobile home park off of 162 and you can see volunteers again boating people out of these areas in the cold water.
It's times like these that people need to work together to help their neighbors and fellow residents. Kudos to Mayor Pagano and all the folks out in the village who worked hard to save lives and help people. That's what it's all about.
