The AP's "Big Story" from yesterday.

From the article, "About one-third of the officers decertified were accused of incidents involving juveniles." In another thread I had asked:

What's the over/under how many kids have been saved by [School Resource Officer] presence since [Columbine]? What's the over/under on how many SRO's have raped a kid since?

    I'd hasard a guess around 52 and 307, respectively.

About 1/3 of the 550 officers in question (from 1999-2014) is about 182, more than half my guess, IN ONLY 5 YEARS. That does not include every state either.

In fairness one could argue, some of things these officers of doing with minors wasn't "rape", nor where all of the officers decertified SRO's, but If federal data were collected on such incidents, I might actually be close. That leads me to ask, whats the odds on a child's likely hood to be raped by a priest, (in the 80's) and an SRO today, 7:1000000 and 15/1000000?
