Thrown in a lion pit, sent to a country ran by a brutal racist genocidal maniac who is now pissed would know he's coming. Pah-tate-o, Pah-tot-o. If he had skinned and beheaded a 13y/o human, sure, but not for a lion. The water boarding was just an example of something that we don't do anymore, because it's cruel, it's not nearly as cruel as a lion pit. It's also not out of the realm of possibility for Robert Mubabe to actually throw him in a lion pit. He does openly compare himself to Hitler after all. What do you think would be an appropriate punishment? I think if one travels to a foreign country and breaks the law they should be prepared to be tried in that country and deal with the consequences of their actions. This was a protected animal, lured outside the protected area and shot with a cross bow (also illegal) and then hunted down and shot 40 hours later.
