I just received word that the young lady who has been fighting for her life has left this earth for a better place. I can't imagine the pain and heartache of losing a child and I wish no parent would have to face such a challenge.
I am very sad today to think that a young lady with a promising future was taken at such a young age. It does not seem fair and it's times like these that make us challenge our faith.
God's comfort and healing to the McElroy family and to all of Abby's friends and band mates at the high school. Please, please, please, pray for this family at this time. I'm beyond any more words. This is devastating news.
