Its so sad that older black people had to go through so much anguish and peril. They knew it would do them no good to complain about it, they trudged on, and were taken advantage by rich white people. I cant help but wonder why they didnt loot and destroy their town. People like chuck berry, little richard, and the like. good people, ive met chuck berry several times, talked to him at length. He hired in at general motors, where i later worked. They made all the blacks become janitors, thought they werent smart enough to do line work. They were wrong, funny, one day the general plant manager came and got we, sat and talked,(i was 18), he asked me where i wanted to be in 10 years. A smart man would have said "your job", but i said,"i want to be a janitor". I didnt say I was extremly smart back then.lol. I have been always haunted what would have happened to me if i had said the right thing.
