There's been a great deal of debate over the school referendum. I doubt any of us changed our vote based on what was printed here however, given the embarrassing fact that a community this size does not have a newspaper to provide information, I would like to give a shout out to the ladies who operate this site.
Where else in this community do people get to express their views, read the views of others, gather information etc..... This site gets criticized a lot by those one the outside. You've heard the comments. "Those hoosiers on GCG do nothing but gripe". " That site is ridiculous". Yeah, we've heard it all.
Those of us who are long timers do appreciate and value this site for what it is. It's a community platform where we get a free reign to say what we think. Although I do irritate the hell out of several of you I do appreciate all of you. The three posters who know me in person would tell you that I'm as big a pain in the butt in person as I am here.
At any rate, thank you all for making this an entertaining visit for an old fart.
