Thank you Millgirl, this is one of those prime examples I was referring to in my above post. More people share your opinion than this district realize. "Wow. Sweet deals they've got, while most of us are still struggling in this economy. And, anyone really needs to ask where the cuts should start?" No, not really. The cuts need to start at the very top and end at the very bottom. This district and it's employees are so use to never being questioned or held accountable, they allow their defensive attitude and emotions cloud their judgment and under estimate the intelligence of the voters. I guess that's human nature when you realize that the goose that has been laying the golden eggs will no longer produce. The familiar threats of strikes and "it only hurts the kids" and the union won't allow this or that and cooks not showing up to make lunches and then there will be no school, well it just doesn't quite pack the punch as it did the many many other times we have all heard it. What truly hurts the kids is when the district repeatedly over spends by affording themselves and those connected, bloated salaries and perks as they laugh all the way to the bank because we just keep picking up the tab. 2015, sounds like a good year for all of us to say, enough is enough!
