You answered your own question Elroy. Our property values are dropping. The net result of that is a decrease in local monies to the school. Couple that with the mess the Blago left the schools in and you easily see the reason for needing more local dollars.
Thanks for making it so clear. Oh and if you're on ssi, you still pay property taxes.
