I have to pass along a heads up to all, watch out for those fees! I got drilled for ~$192, with a supposed refund of $212. This after talking them into a $25 discount. Man, I sure didn't get charged that much for last year's work, when they adjusted 2 years worth and got me about $500 more in refunds that my previous tax preparer missed. The fees for a 1040X was around 100 bucks, but didn't catch what they are charging this year The folks who did these returns are located downtown GC, in the Ralph Building. The preparers there are competent, they know their stuff, but they have priced themselves out of my market. I'm looking for another person/entity to do my taxes next year. Anyone have suggestions??
