Really? The United States has the highest prison population (2,228,424) and the second highest documented incarceration rate in the world (707 per 100,000 population, Seychelles has the highest rate at 868 per 100,000). As of year-end 2012 the USA rate was 920 adults incarcerated in prisons and jails per 100,000 population. At year-end 2007 the United States had less than 5% of the world's population and 23.4% of the world's prison and jail population (adult inmates). No we are no where near the Nazi. We don't stop people going about their business and demand to see their papers. (O wait we do) Our government doesn't try to record, collect and analyze ever piece of data they can get their hands on. (Oh wait, they do) We certainly don't have politicians using the police as armed thugs against people who make fun of them. (Oh wait, that happened in Peoria not all that long ago). We never have people in positions of authority forcing people to do dehumanizing things. (Oh wait, we have the TSA, and stories like this ) I can go on. I know you can't see it, some people wish to remain blind. but the police are out of control. They routinely violate the natural rights of people, and are seldom held accountable for their actions. The only manner I can see in which todays police are not like Nazis, is they don't kill jews on sight.
