I don't work with criminals all day, perhaps if I did, I'd be twice as likely to beat my spouse when I got home (as cops are). Wow, what a bull sh** thing to make an accusation on. Or maybe, if you went into a home where some drunk piece of crap just beat up his kid or some worthless piece of crap junkie just overdosed, you'd get a little jaded yourself. Oh, never mind, you're perfect. Would not happen to you. I do think the good ones these days are vastly out numbered by the bad. You think that but it's just your opinion. By your logic I would argue that there are more bad people in the world than good thee days. Perhaps it takes vile men to fight off vile men, Or at least brave men and women. Wow, I'd love to know what put such a bitter taste in your mouth for cops. Actually I hope I'm still around someday when you're in desperate need of a "vile man's help, screaming like a little girl only to have him bail your ass out. Homes broken into for small crimes as if the home owners had child hostages... It's hard for me to believe they are "mostly good". Define small crime. Making or selling meth? Selling drugs to kids? Hiding stuff they stole from an honest citizen? Are those the crimes you speak of? How about domestic violence Skippy? You have a problem when a cop kicks in a door because he hears some POS beating up his wife or kids? Not me. As far as I'm concerned kick it in and tell them the search warrant is in your shoe. You don't develop this kind of hate for a profession without a reason. My guess is you have a pretty "lengthy" reason in the form of a rap sheet.
