to sandy, I enjoyed your pictures of granite city very much. Ive got more rental property than I need here in GC. didnt know i had the one next door to the Phillips on maple in lincoln place. I would have loved to have grown up there in the 50s. It was a place in time that could have only happened once. and I missed it. I lived at 2128 grand ave in the fifties. Moody chevrolet was on the corner. Jc ranft bottling company as nest to it on grand. does anyone remember that?
