Um, we went end over end from a blown tire, and I came to after a black out. It's not like I made them up. I don't have the pics of my friend's car, but I sure have the pics of mine, do I need to post them? I have the nightmares and the bad knee from them too.

My point is, that if I've had instances like that, then other people have too. I already said that I usually wear my seat belt.

If everybody wore a seat belt voluntarily, there wouldn't be a law. Some people believe that they are safer without their seat belt. All I was saying is there is some instances where they are right. And that's usually the argument against the law.

That's why I said I'm torn. I'd rather have the people I love be on the safe side and better odds of having a seat belt on, but if they truly believe that they aren't as safe, then I'm not sure that we should have a law that forces them. But it's my love for them vs their right to chose.

Oh, and the main people that I know who argue that don't like seat belts are volunteer fire fighters and EMT's. The first scene responders who have seen the "other percent" that it doesn't protect. (Not saying all firefighters and EMT's, I'm saying of the ones I know, a few of them are the ones who don't want to wear seat belts for that reason).
