Granite City is something else. It's a Democratic city, but not at all liberal in its outlook or temperament.
Our GC area representatives voted YES for the tax increase but no on the abolition of state-sponsored killing.
It's a funny place, but thank God they end up doing the right thing. : ) At least in my opinion.
As for Palin -- well Palin's fans and those who do not care for her just have to learn to respect each other.
I don't have a lot of use for her, I will not lie. But people see things differently than me, and I have to respect that and peoples' right to view things according to their own viewpoints.
