Well you don't have to worry about me defending Sarah for anything, except she is the BEST choice for the Republican nomination in any election.
The president gave a great speech and what he said needed to be said. But the thing is, I would expect anyone to step up and call for civility and respect. He did his job and did a great job doing it.
Palin is not presidential material, though would be a good Republican standard bearer.
There is a major contextual difference in the speech.
Palin had to somehow defend herself for the things she said and the cross hair graphics.
She had a different role in all of this. She did not have to speak as the President.
Palin's speech struck me as any other word that has ever came out of her mouth since day one. That's why she'd be a great standard bearer for the Republicans. : ) They should put her in front of the camera as much as possible! All she has to do is open her mouth!
Good to see you Liberal. Sorry things didn't work out in conversations last October. It's not so much what I said as much as how I said it. I admit I came down extra hard.
