I am having a problem at work and I am in need of some advice. I'm not really sure where to start so I'm reaching out to you guys for some help. I am wanting to speak with a lawyers office to see if I have a case, which I believe I do. I am currently pregnant and was told two days before Christmas that I'm not guaranteed a job when I get back from maternity leave. Then last night I found out that come Monday I may be let go. I was told from the beginning of my pregnancy that maternity leave and me coming back after the baby was born was no problem. I thought we had it figured out up until about a week ago. Not to toot my own horn but I am a very efficient worker. I take pride in what I do and I have had nothing but compliments in my work from my boss, office manager, co-workers, and patients, so I see no reason why I should be let go other than the fact and I am pregnant and I am going to have to take three months off. Plus it's not like I can go out right now and find another job being pregnant. I would feel ridiculous going on an interview and saying "by the way, in a couple of months I'm going to need some time off"!!! What is everyones take on this situation? I'm pretty upset and I'm not sure what to do...Thanks!!!
