The one in 77 seems to me that it was during a holiday vacation from school because during the snow my parents drove to Cuba Missouri to pick me up from my grandmas and I stayed there all Holiday Vacations. When they was leaving home my mom had a HUGE tree limb fall from the tree in our yard knocked her down and my dad shoved her in the old station wagon with wood sides and drove to cuba she slept the whole way. While they was gone my brohters turned the water off that they had running and when we got home pipes had burst in the basement so we stayed at the Holiday Inn in Collinsville with the pool, well I got chicken pocs and had to stay in the room while my brother swam and played pool and games all day. The one in 82 was worse than that but seems like it happened on a fri or sat night because I walked home from school with a friend without coats on and spent the night or weekend there woke up and couldnt get the front door open and i had to stay 4 days. I remember them both well. I want another BIG snow like those seems like all we get is lil snow and alot of ice.
