Not at all offended Whatusay! You are so damn right and if someone gets offended by this then so be it! I was born in 1969 and right you are when you say "WE ARE GOING TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET"! Heroin was heard of but we KNEW to stay the hell away from it! I guess us "older" people had enough common sense! Some kids these days are just trying to "chase" a high. My kids know darn good and well that I will NOT hesitate to go to Walgreens and pick up a 12 panel drug screen and have dad stand there while they take a pee in that cup! I could really care-a-less if people call me pathetic but you know I would rather be pathetic than to bury one of my children to this freaking crap! I have been called "over-protective" and strict and I take that as a compliment . My boys know that if they have something they need to talk about....no matter what....they can always come to me and trust me, they do but usually it is over a girl or a friend of theirs that they think is in some sort of trouble. By all means I am not saying that my boys are perfect but I hope and pray to the good LORD above that I have preached enough about drug use and its affects on families that they might just think twice before doing it. They know first hand what it can do to a family because it just happened to ours Nov.3rd of this year with their uncle. It still hurts emotionally due to the simple fact of the pain he left behind with his 4 beautiful children. He will not be around to see his first born graduate high school this year and enlist in the Army.....he will never be able to walk his beautiful daughter down the isle in the future. Sad....just sad!
