Tomorrow, Rain. Thanksgiving Day: Chance Of Frozen Precipitation Archived Message

The local forecast for the next 72 hours looks nasty, to say the least.

Wednesday (tomorrow): Mostly cloudy, rain off and on all day, chance of thunderstorms with gusty S to SW winds. High in the lower 50's.

Congratulations, Wednesday...you're the best looking day of the week.

THANKSGIVING DAY: Colder. Mostly cloudy. Chance of sleet in the morning. Chance of rain through the day. Chance of freezing rain in the late morning and afternoon. High around 40. Temperature falling into the 30s in the afternoon. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.

Yeeesh. Eat that turkey, fire up the late football game, get the wood in the fireplace and bundle up with someone you love on Thanksgiving Evening. Brrr!

THANKSGIVING NIGHT (BLACK FRIDAY WAKEUP FORECAST): Low in the lower 20s. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

Now THAT'S a shriveler. Bust out the heavy coats and caps if you're one of the clowns standing in the middle of a parking lot in the wee hours of Friday morning, waiting to run over each other to get a flat-screen television.

BLACK FRIDAY: Sunny, but high temps will struggle to make it to 40.

And that's pretty much it. Saturday and Sunday look equally cold, with a new batch of cold air and rain next Monday that will reinforce this cold snap.

Unfortunately, get used to this. Winter is arriving.
