That fringe ok albino is currently rated second in the top two to win the N.L. MVP award. Big bad Baez, after that impressive start has managed to get one single since, so maybe you better hold off for a bit before you start comparing him with Mickey Mantle or something equally as crazy. The team has some goods, and some pretty goods to talk about but its just not going to be quite enough this year to hang with the big boys.

St. Louis is really pushing Wetherholt for ROY, and although he is doing fine, his numbers don't matchup with Sal Stewart, not even close. Better get that PR team ramped up. Some caller on 101 FM was trying to say Alec Burleson should be in the running for MVP, which is just hilarious. He is having a damn good season, but MVP and Alec Burleson do not fit, and even the homers on 101 admitted that. He looks like he should be playing softball in some CYA league, but he for sure can hit the ball.

So to sum things up, just take this semi exciting season if you are a Cardinals fan and chalk it up to being another non post season year. Be happy with the mediocrity, you could be a Pirates fan.
