Lets change it up. Every few weeks this summer, Covered Bridge Bike Rental is hosting a group ride. Bring your own bike (e-bikes and analog welcome) or rent an e-bike right there. There is no cost to ride unless you rent.

🕘 Meet Up: 9:00 AM (We're starting early to beat the heat!)

📍 Meet Location: Covered Bridge Bike Rental

🚲 Distance: Approximately 25 miles
⚡ Pace: 12-15 mph
🌳 Terrain: Mostly flat with a few busy road crossings

Main Street will be closed while sewer work is being completed.

➡️ Coming from the Edwardsville side? Park at the library.

⬅️ Coming from the St. Louis side? Park in the fire department parking lot.

📍 We'll meet in the small parking lot next to Covered Bridge Bike Rental. If you're not sure where to go, just ask!

🌿 This week's adventure is a trail collector's dream!

We'll ride several of the MCT trail system's greatest hits all in one morning!

🚴 Start at Covered Bridge Bike Rental

🌳 Head north on the Heritage Trail

🐻 Cruise onto the Goshen Trail and say hello to Jarvis the Bear

🌉 Climb up and over the bridge before joining the Schoolhouse Trail

❤️ Roll through Drost Park, where Mary the Cardinal will be waiting to greet us. It's also a great spot for a restroom break.

🐴 Pass Radish the Horse

🌉 Cross the NEW Route 111 bridge

🦆 Ride along beautiful Horseshoe Lake, where you might spot ducks, geese, herons, and maybe even catch a glimpse of the St. Louis Arch peeking above the trees.

🌲 Hop onto the Nature Trail until we reach the Nickel Plate split.

🐥 Finish by riding alongside Route 162 to visit Cole the Canary... better known as everyone's favorite Chicken on Stilts!

Then it's back to Covered Bridge Bike Rental with another great ride in the books!
