You have often heard the phrase, "Air holds more water when.." Nonsense.
The vapor pressure of water is independent of the amount of air as seen in this graph. Standard air pressure is 760 Torr (mm of mercury) which equals 14.7 psi.
The vapor pressure of water at 25 degrees is 23.8 Torr with zero air, or with normal atmospheric pressure.
Water don't care about air!
