Trump definitely has a boner for Putin and Putin takes full advantage of it.. he knows saying things like "there never would have been a war if Trump were in office"- feeds Trump's ego.

I really hope the meetings with Zelensky and European allies results in an end to the war, but it seems unlikely. Zelensky doesn't believe anything Putin promises and Putin not only wants to keep the territories he's invaded, he wants more.
