Over the next 15 years, 25 hotels with more than 5,000 rooms are to be built. Including ski lifts and slopes, the project will cover 127 ha. In an earlier announcement, the company stated the total cost of the project at the equivalent of more than 1.45 billion euros. The company is raising a third of this from its own funds and loans, while the remainder is to be acquired from investors.
The new recreational complex is built near the village of Volosyanka in the Lviv region, just under 50 km from the Polish border. The mountains in this area only reach an altitude of just over 1,200 metres. To date, there have been hardly any Russian missile and drone attacks in the Carpathian region.
