This one took me a couple of days and a few phone calls, but I think we have it figured out. The talk around the tunda is that a local woman and her husband moved out of state not long ago, and recently and unexpectedly the woman became a widow. The scoop I'm hearing is she just moved back to town to be with her new love interest that is employed by the city. The woman left her job to come back to Granite City and is currently in need of a job. Here is where it gets interesting, will the woman Amy M be an auto hire for the position that is open, or will a new position and title be created to find her a place inside city hall.

I'm being told the watercooler pot is growing daily as the plot thickens and the days pass. I guess it's a wait and see kind of situation.
