The Cardinals appear to be stuck with Arenado, as the 5 teams he would go to don't seem interested in him. As currently structured if this team wins 80 games it will be a miracle. The Yankees offered Marcos Stroman for him, which says a lot about what the Yankees think of Arenado. Stroman is a clubhouse cancer, 500-at-best pitcher on the Cardinals.
The Brewers may have something to say about it, but it looks to me like the CUBS will take this division.
The front office will need a scapegoat, and that will be Marmol. Ah, the CARDINAL WAY.
