Mary Comans, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), has been fired following a scandal involving the misallocation of $59 million in taxpayer funds.

The funds were used to cover luxury hotel accommodations in New York City for illegal immigrants, an action that directly contradicted President Trump’s executive orders.
