DEI is an absolute cancer in the government. Before I retired, my agency had an entire division (80ish people) that were totally focused on DEI, whether it be setting up in agency celebrations, parties, off sites, training cells. All were non mission related. Everyone of those employees make between 90K-150k. The top 3 were all band 5s. They all made a little over 150K.
