I would imagine the only "clinical studies" that were attempted were done by Trump University, but it ceased operation in 2011 after multiple investigations, lawsuits and student complaints.

In 2018 a Federal Court approved a 25 million dollar settlement with students who were duped by this "prestigious" university.
