The Laken Riley Act is now law. Nothing can take the place of this young lady in the lives of her family and friends but this law will keep her name in history forever

Her mothers' comments brought tears to my eyes because I can't imagine how a parent copes with the death of a child let alone one murdered because of pathetically weak policies by the Biden administration.

RIP young lady. Your death, while tragic, is one of the reasons we have a new President and why we can live in hopes that others like you are not the victims of criminals who should never have been here.

Thank you as well to the democrats who crossed the aisle to help pass this legislation. And to those who voted against it, you are cowards and do not deserve to hold office.
