Trump and Associates are not stuck with this, and they need to show they aren't playing on day one. They can easily play this the way the Democrats would do and just do what they damn well please and ask for forgiveness later.

Fire everyone you want and tell them to take it to the courts, see you in a few years pal. Your union hacks can take care of you now and when you get that sorted out, which will be next to a sure thing because we just acted lawless and then, and only then after we had used taxpayer money to burn your union's legal defense fund down to zero we will cut you your court-ordered settlement check because the job doesn't even exist anymore so you are out of luck about getting it back. I love this way of thinking, and let's face it, the Democrats are damn good teachers.

I do not think the American public would have any problem with this in the current environment.
