On November 3rd, 2020, Trump was ahead by tens of thousands of votes in important states until after midnight when many more thousands of votes mysteriously appeared in paper ballot form. Boxes and boxes of paper ballots showed up at polling stations unvetted, unchecked for authenticity, but were of course counted anyway. On November 4th, it was reported that Trump had lost his huge lead. Again, beware of paper ballots appearing at the last minute this year. Even though the Democrats keep stumbling and bumbling, this presidential election is purposely being kept close.
