Anything involving these people is just as likely to be a lie as it is to be the truth. As Hitlery would say, at this point what difference does it make?
If you want to visit Chicago, wear Kevlar. The Chicago Mayor doesn't care and neither does the Governor. The entire state is one big sewer.
