Detroit’s last Republican Mayor was in 1957 … since then Democrats have turned it into the poorest city in the Nation, with poverty, crime, rot, and bankruptcies with 40% of the population living below the poverty line. Detroit affirmative-action politicians exist for only one thing making themselves rich at the expense of the minorities and welfare recipients who vote for them.
Additionally, in Detroit, trillions of dollars in infrastructure were destroyed. Factories, businesses, and tens of thousands of once-beautiful homes were destroyed. Two-thirds of the population moved out and now the same thing that destroyed Detroit is infecting the nearby suburbs. Once there was nothing left to steal and no one to rob in Detroit, Democrat voters had to move beyond the city limits to ply their trade. The exact same scenario in the top 50 murder cities in America … all Democrat-run cesspools of death, dependency, deviancy, and destruction. People, and in particular dumb people never learn and they don't want to learn which is even worse. Look at St. Louis and that do-nothing prosecutor who finally got run out of town, it will take more than that to help out that crime-riddled mess. Chicago replaced a horrible joke of a mayor with someone who wants to prove that he is even worse. So far he is doing just that. Democrats who run these cities don't care that they are cesspools, that's what they are striving for. Detroit may be the worst of the worse, but they have some serious competition.
