If inviting Trump and his attendance provided comfort to them, I'm glad. If they wanted pictures with him, also perfectly fine as long as it didn't break the rules.
What I do have a problem with, and many veterans do is the disregard for the rules of using imagery from this ceremony and visit for a political ad.
Section 60 is, unfortunately, filled with other soldiers who also made the sacrifice. It's solemn ground and many families visit regularly, have some respect for them as well.
If Trump wants to run an ad calling out Biden and Harris on the withdrawal, fine, but don't use footage you obtained by ignoring the Army's rules to make your point. Especially when you're known for disparaging veterans who lost their lives.
