It’s extremely difficult to slam together a coherent, functioning, integrated organization in a matter of weeks when you’re dealing with such outsized egos all in the same room together.
Now, add to that, a rudderless individual who doesn’t know how to manage them, doesn’t know what position she should take because she can’t run away from her Biden administration record or her 2020 comments and tack to the center without losing some of her support. She is so far out of her league, it's insane.
She’s stepped on quite a few rakes already, such as her communistic price controls proposal and picking the most left-wing governor in the country as a running mate. Now, she’s stepped on yet another rake by only agreeing to be interviewed by a sycophantic Dana Bash while she has her male running mate, using the term loosely, by her side to jump in, in case she starts going off the rails. The three of them may as well be holding hands over this joke of an interview.
Meanwhile, Trump and Vance take full advantage of free media to give interviews and put their positions out in public while Harris thinks she can hide in the basement and run out the clock which she probably can.
