For all the effort the Democrats put into it until this point they haven't got as much out of it as they had hoped for. Other than the Kangaroo NY court, much of the attacks haven't gone quite as planned. They kept him from campaigning and cost him a ton of money, so they will take what they can get. Real courts will overturn all of it, but these demons know it may take years.
