I understand what you’re saying. Personally I don’t want the city running the bar on nights places like the Speakeasy, Tinsel Town and the new pizza place could be selling drinks. They have investments too.

As for why it’s sitting empty, I don’t know. I heard they just approved a contract with the woman who operates Tinsel Town and the new coffee shop on Johnson Road. Maybe she’s too busy right now with those ventures.

I hope to see a concert or comedy show there soon.
