When you say they successfully blocked this story from being reported, 98% of the MSM wasnt going to report it anyway, or at most they were going to give the China Joe version of it all.
As for the Republicans getting to the bottom of this cluster, dont count on that either. The GOP does a lot of huffing and puffing and then they cave like dogs. I dont think the Democrats are all that concerned, and why would they be?
