MaryBeth, trust me, nobody despises Democrats more than I do. I'm not one of these Republicans like some even on here that try to appease people on both sides. I don't use Democrat terms that were given to Trump supporters by Democrats and I don't join in the Democrat class envy game, especially considering that for quite some time the Democrats have done just fine with Wall Street. IMO that kind of so-called Republican is worse than Woke Ass lunatic Democrats because they are all over the damn place. Democrats dont play that game, you are either all in or you can GTFO, Republicans have loads of half ass Republicans, and always have. Every time they say something that is right on the button they feel the need to balance it out by saying something a good public school-indoctrinated Democrat would say. I'll take the nutjob leftists over the phony every time, at least you know what you have.

But and this is a big but, in some local races, who even knows what party some of these people are, and yes I know the mayor of GC is a Democrat, but the mayor of Pontoon Beach I'm not so sure. He seems to push Democrats from time to time in some elections, but I don't much care what any mayor has to say about an election other than maybe the one he is running in. He is a good mayor and at least from all appearances tries to stay clear of party politics.
