It is 2022, and you are still reciting Pelosi and followers' unproven nonsense which was baseless rhetoric to begin with. Good grief! "GOP snake oil peddling" And to think people were offended by some of Trump's tweets when you had the soon to be Speaker of the House calling our Congress and our President "snake oil peddlers."
"Following the 2017 tax cuts and reduced regulations on businesses, wages rose at above-trend rates, leading to an estimated $1,406 gain in annualized earnings for the average worker as of March 2020"
TCJA improved economic mobility (the ability of an individual, family or some other group to improve or lower their economic status, usually measured in income)
"The IRS data further show that the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act appeared to have a strong upward effect on economic mobility. The number of filers with an adjusted gross income of $1 to $25,000 decreased by more than 2 million in just one year, while the number of households reporting incomes higher than $25,000 increased in every income bracket."
"The most significant increase occurred in the $100,000 to $200,000 bracket, which included more than 1 million additional filers in 2018 than it did in 2017."
All of the nonsense flowing from Pelosi and team has been debunked using the data by the internal revenue department.
Personally, I would like to see more studies done on income mobility.
Lastly, this legislation did not favor wealthy filers.
Based on tax data, "in 2017, filers earning $500,000 or more paid 38.9 percent of all personal income tax revenues. In 2018, the same income bracket paid 41.5 percent of total income tax revenues."
