You are right, it is near impossible to find news proper to Granite City.

I am part of some historical groups on Facebook where they are always posting content from the former press-record.

Even if the Post or the News-Democrat covers some happenings in Granite City, such content is hard to find.

I really appreciate what I am seeing. I can see more time being spent perusing the articles. The obits truly are helpful....and other sections will be too.
