Sounds like as of tomorrow GCSD will go back to remote. A friend of Mrs. O. just posted an e-mail from the district confirming the shutdown of more education.

First the Chicago teachers union walk off the job this morning due to their fear of COVID and now our local district shuts down again with very little notice to parents.

Very sad that these children are being sacrificed because of fear. COVID is going to stay around for years to come. These school closings do nothing more than push the "stick" initiative.

Even the President and his administration are asking schools not to shut down because they see the long term damage to children.

I understand staff shortages but I blame schools for not having a proper amount of subs to man the battle stations. We've been in this for over a year now. How much longer will kids be cheated?
