How do you know the ppl that irked the hell out of you were from Edwardsville? Maybe they were also from Granite City. I think on the whole people from Granite City may be a little more hoosierish than those from Edwardsville but the difference would not be all that significant. Edwardsville is obviously a richer community but id also bet that if you had been blindfolded you would not have noticed much if any difference at all in their perceived snootiness. In conclusion, the difference in the ppl from the two communities is pretty insignificant.
