How about that... St. Louis gets its payday from Kroenke and the NFL as they have settled out of court.
I guess when it's all said and done, three parties will receive a pay out of $500 Million (The City of St. Louis, St. Louis Sports Commission, and I guess St. Louis County as well...)
There was another $250 million or more, but I guess that goes to the 'legal fees'.
If anyone gets an invitation to the Law Firm's holiday party, it should be quite the rave.
Anyone disappointed that a team didn't come with it?
I for one think it was a good thing.
Afterall, they could have gone to trial, and the legal fees skyrocket, or there's the gamble that the judgment could have been less favorable.
And also too, I don't think there ever was a chance for them to get a franchise out of this.
St. Louis and the NFL probably won't be doing much business together any time soon....
