Unless you sat and watched the trial to see (all) of the evidence, and not some slanted edited video clips (that the prosecution got caught using) you're opinion would be far from the actual chain of events.
CNN got caught running a video clip edited to make this kid appear like a mass shooter, and was caught doing so. Then the entire unedited video surfaced and people were shocked of the circumstances that lead up to the little snip-it being shown by the MSM.
It just goes to show you how far these people will go when they are on a witch hunt. There is no limit, no line they won't cross even when the end game could have resulted in multiple life sentences for this kid. Hell, for that matter you have some idiots calling for the death penalty for this kid. They could have done it and slept well that same night. This shows you what we are dealing with. It's disturbing and beyond shameful.
This kid never crossed any state line.
His mother didn't "drop him off"
He was asked and invited to bring water, bandages and supplies in the event someone needed help from the riots, and his firearm to help protect businesses and property.
He was within his (legal) rights to be armed with this gun, and to protect himself from bodily harm or death.
His only mistake was agreeing to go help.
I'll never understand anyone who thinks this kid should not have tried to defend himself and save his own life. Wouldn't it make much more sense to blame those chasing after him and trying to bash his brains in with a skate board? Or, how about blaming the guy who pointed a pistol at his head with a bullet in the chamber?
