So if the inevitable had to be realized - might as well do it with him. Might as well finish what T-rump started.
The withdraw began in the last administration and so now the presence is so weak. What do we do? Spend another trillion dollars - if Afghans themselves are not trying to resist the Taliban?
Trump set up this screw job....but Biden is also not going to run again for president.... and they can get someone else in and somehow manage not to let this stick to them....then no harm done.
If you look beyond the partisan wrangling...this is the one president that knows he has nothing to lose and what can they do if he makes an unpopular decision?
Or did you want to invest another trillion?
It's screwy and scary to think about what's next....but no good is going to come out of keeping this perpetual war raging.
