The City is in conversations with the new Owner which is an internet sales/retailer. This type of business will provide the City not only local taxes but is anticipated to generate sales tax on internet sales. Increasing sales tax revenue is extremely important to fund police, fire and streets. Sales tax revenue also helps the City to be less reliant on property taxes.

The City has not received any further information, plans or request regarding the property. We expect the redevelopment process to be at least 6-months."
